بِسمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحمٰنِ الرَّحيمِ বিসমিল্লাহির রাহমানির রাহিম وَٱلْعَٰدِيَٰتِ ضَبْحًا فَٱلْمُورِيَٰتِ قَدْحًا فَٱلْمُغِيرَٰتِ صُبْحًا فَأَثَرْنَ بِهِۦ نَقْعًا فَوَسَطْنَ بِهِۦ جَمْعًا إِنَّ ٱلْإِنسَٰنَ لِرَبِّهِۦ لَكَنُودٌ وَإِنَّهُۥ عَلَىٰ ذَٰلِكَ لَشَهِيدٌ وَإِنَّهُۥ لِحُبِّ ٱلْخَيْرِ لَشَدِيدٌ أَفَلَا يَعْلَمُ إِذَا بُعْثِرَ مَا فِى ٱلْقُبُورِ وَحُصِّلَ مَا فِى ٱلصُّدُورِ إِنَّ رَبَّهُم بِهِمْ يَوْمَئِذٍ لَّخَبِيرٌۢ উচ্চারণঃ ওয়াল ‘আ-দিয়া-তি দাবহা-। ফাল মূরিয়া-তি কাদহা-। ফাল মুগীরা-তি সুবহা-। ফাআছারনা বিহী নাক‘আ-। ফাওয়াছাতানা বিহী জাম‘আ-। ইন্নাল ইনছা-না লিরাব্বিহী লাকানূদ। ওয়া ইন্নাহূ‘আলা-যা-লিকা লাশাহীদ। ওয়া ইন্নাহূলিহুব্বিল খাইরি লাশাদীদ। আফালা-ইয়া‘লামুইযা-বু‘ছিরা মা-ফিল কুবূর। ওয়া হুসসিলা মা-ফিসসুদূর, ইন্না রাব্বাহুম বিহিম ইয়াওমাইযিল্লাখাবীর। অর্থঃ শপথ উর্ধ্বশ্বাসে চলমান অশ্বসমূহের, অতঃপর ক্ষুরাঘাতে অগ্নিবিচ্ছুরক অশ্বসমূহের অতঃপর প্রভাতকালে আক্রমণকারী অশ্বসমূহের ও যারা সে সময়ে ধুলি উৎক্ষিপ্ত করে অতঃপর যারা শক্রদলের অভ্যন্তরে ঢুকে পড়ে- নিশ্চয় মানুষ তার পালনকর্তার প্রতি অকৃতজ্ঞ। এবং সে অবশ্য এ বিষয়ে অবহিত এবং সে নিশ্চিতই ধন-সম্পদের ভালবাসায় মত্ত। সে কি জানে না, যখন কবরে যা আছে, তা উত্থিত হবে এবং অন্তরে যা আছে, তা অর্জন করা হবে? সেদিন তাদের কি হবে, সে সম্পর্কে তাদের পালনকর্তা সবিশেষ জ্ঞাত।

The chapter takes its name from the word "men", "people" or "mankind" (al-nās), which recurs throughout the chapter. Together with the preceding chapter, Al-Falaq ("Daybreak"), they are known as "the Refuges" (Al-Mu'awwidhatayn); dealing with roughly the same theme, they form a natural pair. Regarding the timing and contextual background of the supposed revelation (asbāb al-nuzūl), it is an earlier "Meccan surah", which means it is believed to have been revealed in Mecca, instead of later in Medina.
The Daybreak[1] (Arabic: اَلْفَلَق, al-falaq) is the 113th chapter (sūrah) of the Qur'an. It is a brief five verse invocation, asking God for protection from the evil:
[2] Say, "I seek refuge in the Lord of daybreak[3][o 1]
^o The original word properly signifies a cleaving, and denotes, says Baidawi, the production of all things from the darkness of privation to the light of existence. Hence it is used more particularly to signify the breaking forth of the light from darkness.
^p ie from the mischiefs/evils proceeding either from the perverseness and evil choice of those beings wirh free will, or the effects of necessary natural agents: fire, poison etc, the world being good in the whole, though evils may follow from those two causes.[4]

^rWitches, were believed to tie string into a number of knots while blowing upon them and murmuring magic incantations.[6][7] The Knots which the wizards in the northern parts tie, when they sell mariners a wind (if the stories told of them be true), are also relics of the same superstition. The commentators relate that Lobeid, a Jew, with the assistance of his daughters, bewitched Mohammed, by tying eleven knots on a cord, which they hid in a well; whereupon Mohammed falling ill, GOD revealed this chapter and the following, and Gabriel acquainted him with the use he was to make of them, and of the place where the cord was hidden: according to whose directions the prophet sent Ali to fetch the cord, and the same being brought, he repeated the two chapters over it, and at every verse (for they consist of eleven) a knot was loosed, till on finishing the last words, he was entirely freed from the charm.[4][8]

সূরা আল ইখলাস (আরবি ভাষায়: الإخلاص, বাংলা ভাষায়: নিষ্ঠা) বা সূরা আল-তাওহিদ (আরবি ভাষায়: التوحيد, বাংলা ভাষায়: একত্ববাদ) মুসলমানদের ধর্মীয় গ্রন্থ কুরআনের ১১২ তম সূরা। একে সচরাচর সূরা ইখলাস বা ক্বুল হু আল্লাহু আহাদ হিসাবেও উল্লেখ করা হয়ে থাকে।
সূরা আল ইখলাস-এর আয়াত সংখ্যা ৪টি এবং এর রূকুর সংখ্যা ১টি। আল ইখলাস সূরাটি মক্কায় অবতীর্ণ হয়েছে। এই সূরাটিকে ইসলামের শেষ পয়গম্বর মুহাম্মাদ বিশেষ তাৎপর্যপূর্ণ বলে ব্যাখ্যা করেছেন। তাৎপর্যের কারণ হিসেবে বলা হয়েছে, এই আয়াতে আল্লাহ্র সবচেয়ে সুন্দর সংজ্ঞা দেওয়া হয়েছে । এটি কুরআনের অন্যতম ছোট একটি সূরা হিসেবেও বিবেচিত হয়ে থাকে।
কুরআনের বিভিন্ন সূরার বিষয়বস্তু প্রধানত: তিন শ্রেণীর যথা আল্লাহর পরিচয়, হয়রত মুহাম্মাদ-এর রিসালত এবং পরকালের বর্ণনা। সূরা ইখলাসে কেবল আল্লাহ এর কথাই আলোচিত হয়েছে।
অবতরণের পটভূমি[সম্পাদনা]
মুশরিকরা মুহাম্মদ -কে আল্লাহ্ তাআলার বংশ পরিচয় জিজ্ঞেস করেছিল, যার জওয়াবে এই সূরা নাযিল হয়। অন্য এক বিবরণে আছে যে, মদীনার ইহুদিরা এ প্রশ্ন করেছিল। কোনো কোনো রেওয়ায়েতে আছে যে, তারা আরও প্রশ্ন করেছিলঃ আল্লাহ্ তাআলা কিসের তৈরি, স্বর্ণ-রৌপ্য অথবা অন্য কিছুর? এর জওয়াবে সূরাটি অবতীর্ণ হয়েছে ৷[১][২]
قُلۡ هُوَ اللّٰهُ اَحَدٌ***
اَللّٰهُ الصَّمَدُ***
لَمۡ یَلِدۡۙ وَ لَمۡ یُوۡلَدۡ***
وَ لَمۡ یَکُنۡ لَّهُ کُفُوًا اَحَدٌ***
o বল, তিনিই আল্লাহ্ এক!
** আল্লাহ অমুখাপেক্ষী ।
** তিনি কাউকে জন্ম দেন নি এবং কেউ তাকে জন্ম দেয়নি।
** তার সমতুল্য আর কেউ নেই!
সুরা ইখলাস তিনবার পাঠ করলে কি এক খতম কোরআন পাঠের সওয়াব পাওয়া যাবে?
এ সুরাটি তিনবার পাঠ করলেই পূর্ণ কোরআন মাজিদ পাঠ হয়ে যাবে বা এক খতম কোরআনের সওয়াবপ্রাপ্ত হবে—এরূপ কথা হাদিসের কোথাও বলা হয়নি। বরং বলা হয়েছে যে সুরা ইলখাস কোরআন মাজিদের এক-তৃতীয়াংশের সমতুল্য। এর মর্মার্থ হলো, এ সুরাটি যে ব্যক্তি বুঝে পাঠ করবে তার অন্তরে আল্লাহর নাম ও গুণাবলি গেঁথে যাবে, ফলে সে শিরকি চিন্তাধারা থেকে পরিচ্ছন্ন থাকবে। অর্থাৎ সুরা ইখলাস পাঠের ফলে কোরআন মাজিদের এক-তৃতীয়াংশের আমল তার মধ্যে পাওয়া গেল। এর অর্থ এই নয় যে একবার সুরা পাঠ করলে এক-তৃতীয়াংশ পাঠ করা হলো এবং তিনবার পাঠ করলে এক খতম কোরআন পাঠ করা হলো এবং এক খতমের সওয়াবপ্রাপ্ত হবে।

the people enter into the religion of GOD by troops:
celebrate the praise
of thy LORD, and ask pardon of him; for he is inclined to forgive.[5]
